Top quality finishing materials to be used in the building of Plac Zamkowy – Business with Heritage
To finish the building Plac Zamkowy – Business with Heritage, the investor carefully chose beautiful and precious finishing materials with excellent technical parameters, which will accentuate the modern character of the office building while remaining in harmony with the surrounding historic buildings.
The ground floor of the building will be covered with Muschelkalk limestone. This is an exclusive, rare stone typically not available in Poland, which will be custom-imported – it was chosen because of its colors, beautiful graining and the possibility to be cut across the stone block, not found in this version so far. Stone thickness of 3 and 4 cm used on the façade is a natural thickness used by Sto Company for the ventilated façade of the building. Ventilated façade is currently the highest standard of façade solutions, whereby the façade stays in excellent condition for many years.
STO Lotusan luxurious plasters and paints will be used on the upper floors. STO Lotusan is a recognized brand, often used in the renovation of historic buildings worldwide, chosen primarily because of its high quality products.
The building will have Pilkington Suncool glass installed – Pilkington being one of the market leaders providing a very high quality product. Its glass was selected because of possible gray color, matching the colors of the other elements of the façade. Glass is durable and resistant to scratches and combines excellent reduction of sunlight permeability with a number of features to provide a better optical appearance of the glass, energy savings and comfort for building occupants. The glass will allow a large amount of light to come in while at the same time reducing the heat transmission portion of solar radiation. Low-emission properties of the glass coating cause the heat trying to get out of the room to be reflected back into its interior.
The roof is covered with a prePATINA patina metal sheet by RHEINZINK which is one of the best-known and respected companies in the European market. The surface of metal sheet is a natural living and durable material, which continuously cooperates with the environment – due to weather conditions, over time it acquires a natural blue-gray patina. It will provide excellent color alignment with the already-patinated rooftops of the surrounding Old City buildings.
The building will boast traditional wrought-iron railings with elements of brass, which is rare in terms of features in modern buildings. Because of their elegant appearance, the railings were selected to better synchronize with the surrounding historic buildings.
The highest quality of materials indicates that the investor is aware of the responsibility associated with the construction of Plac Zamkowy – Business with Heritage in such a prestigious place and wants to maintain a high level of performance of the façade of the building for years to come.
