We Will Light It Up Blue for Autism

On 1 and 2 April 2016, between 6:00 PM and midnight, our building Plac Zamkowy – Business with Heritage will go blue. By going blue, we will shine the light on autism and show our solidarity with the people affected by autism. Thus we will join in a global campaign, continued since 2011 and organised by the American organisation Autism Speaks and promoted in Poland by the Foundation SYNAPSIS.

“Lighting our building in blue shows that we are not indifferent to the fate of people with autism and all those who support them every day,” – says Maksymilian Marcinkowski, CEO of the company Senatorska – Investment.

The initiative known as “Blue for Autism” is to express solidarity with the people affected by autism by turning the lights blue on public and commercial buildings. In the first two days of April, over 85 buildings throughout the country will Go Blue for Autism. The project was promoted by nine leading international companies operating in the real estate market.
Action “Blue for Autism” will start the National Autism Awareness Month during which real estate companies will support the Foundation SYNAPSIS not only by turning their lights blue in office buildings, warehouses and shopping centres in Poland. Employees of companies participating in the campaign will also distribute materials on autism and encourage donating 1% of tax or cash to support the diagnosis and treatment of the foundation charges.

Anybody strolling on 1 and 2 April in the Warsaw Old Town who wants to photograph the blue-lit Plac Zamkowy – Business with Heritage building and publish photos on Instagram, hashtag #pznaniebiesko, will receive a small gift. We look forward receiving your photos by midnight Monday, 4 April. Join us! Let’s help everyone understand and raise awareness of autism!
